Doodle

Quick sketch of my love. Went a bit overboard with the lining and shouldn't have done it as thick and noticeable. Lots of things aren't lined up correctly. It's my first sketch in awhile so I'm a bit rusty. Thanks to Dan and Marco for kicking me back in gear.

Man. It bugs me that from his mouth down, everything shifts more to the right. Huhu.

I had to laugh when I saw your comment on another blog from the other day when you said you clicked "Next Blog". That's how I got to that site as well. It is a cool way to travel around the world randomly and see the wonders of God's creation around us--and the artistic talent of so many of you!

Blessings on your "Next Blog" journey! :)

Can't believe some bald guy let you tattoo this on top of his head!!! j/k

Natalie, this is by far the best/most accurate I have have EVER seen of Dan, EVEN by himself!

So funny that artists have to self deprecate and bash themselves and are generally just so insecure that they ACTUALLY believe that a drawing like this isn't ABSOLUTELY AMAZING because of little things like "overboard lining" and "lined up-ness". Non-fine artists, like myself, have their jaws agape and are awed with your TALENT.
But, now that you mention those things I look for them and I can see them. Doesn't take away from the beauty, but after all, it was only a quick sketch so, uh...WOW.

Wow, Keith. You made me smile big time. You are absolutely right about insecurity. I have a lot of it in my drawings/paintings because I am surrounded by amazing talented artists that do such an amazing job. Their artwork looks practically perfect in every way. If you see the list of my friends on the right side of my blog, you can click on any of them and see exactly what I'm talking about. It's a tough world out there, everything is competition it seems like. At the same time, I should learn to appreciate what I am able to do artistically, and have confidence. I honestly wish I had the ability to spit out artwork like Dan is able to do. I'm the type of person who has to make sure I have a really good idea before I can put my imaginary thoughts to paper/canvas.

It's awesome you have a blog. I'm going to add you to my list of friends. :)
